1. Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small text records a website can ask a browser to store. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps a value on your device but is not automatically sent with every web request. In this policy, “browser storage” covers both unless a distinction matters.

Strictly necessary
These records support a feature you request or keep the site secure and functional. Consent is not normally required where the storage is genuinely necessary, although we still explain it here.
Preferences
Preference storage remembers choices such as cookie settings. At present, our single consent value falls into this category and is used only to honour your selection.
Analytics and advertising
Montaveris does not currently load analytics or advertising trackers. Selecting “Allow all” records your preference but does not activate any dormant tracker. If this changes, we will update this policy and request valid consent before setting non-essential storage where required.

4. Third-party websites
Clicking an official game link takes you to another domain. That publisher may use its own cookies and storage under its policy. Montaveris cannot read or control storage created on those separate sites.
Our locally hosted game artwork does not contact the publisher when it loads. The font stylesheet may be delivered by Google Fonts; depending on deployment and browser behaviour, the request can disclose routine connection information such as an IP address to that provider. A production privacy-hardened deployment may self-host these fonts.
5. How to control browser storage
You can clear or block site data through your browser settings. Clearing data for montaveris.com removes the saved choice, so the notice will appear again. Blocking local storage does not prevent reading the editorial content, but the site may be unable to remember your preference.
Common controls are usually found under Privacy, Cookies, Site Data or Tracking Prevention in your browser. “Do Not Track” is not consistently defined; because Montaveris does not currently use behavioural analytics or advertising, we do not build a profile regardless of that signal.
6. Policy changes
If we add a service that requires non-essential cookies, we will update the register, identify the provider, purpose and duration, and provide a meaningful choice before activation where law requires it.
